Analyze your weaknesses Kaama, krOdha, lObha, mOha, mada, maatsarya
Do it honestly. Estimate as they are.
To ascend is your nature. To descend is not your nature. You should know where you are however. To know where I am and make it a benchmark is important. Find out through introspection (honestly). Sum of strengths and weaknesses is where I am.
Eg: Anger. How quickly I become angry. How quickly I get disturbed. Find out. I get angry for this. I don’t get angry for this. How is my avariciousness.
Eg: How avaricious am I? How jealous am I? Towards what? Towards whom? For what? How infatuated am I? mOha. It is MINE feeling. What am I infatuated with?
Eg: If I am good at something don’t oversell it to yourself. Do it as they they, factually.
utkraama ataH = Ascending = Progress
Reduce negative. Increase positive.
ma avapattaaH
Don’t descend.
Problem = fear of death
If I do like this, if something happens, what next?
Starting from the fear of death, if I keep adjusting everything, I become dishonest.
abhinivEsha = fear of death
This is the ultimate fear. As long as the fear of death exists in us powerfully, I won’t be able to take any steps. Overcome that fear of death. If I die, don’t worry. There is a big chain of birth and death. In your next birth you will start at a higher point. Death is only a temporary shifting point. You never die. Soul is eternal.
Even if the starting fear is not death, if u ask questions over and over again, all fears lead to the fear of death.
Courage
Practice needs courage. To get that courage, understand what death is. It is the separation of the soul from the shariira, indriya manas.
marut = one who is ready to shed their body for the sake of a higher cause
mA ChittA asaat lOkAt
Don’t run away from your responsibilities. Overcome all this and be the ebacon of hope for those around you. When you do that, it will help you ascend first, and it will help others. Postpone death through my good thoughts, words, actions.
You show light on others like sun during the day and moon during the night.
sanyyasa ashrama
Living in the world. Overcoming your difficulty. Helping others clear off their tears. This is real sannyaasa aashrama
How can I be free while being here in this world?
I can be free by being here, doing things, but doing things selflessly.
If I run away to the mountains but be selfish, that is useless.
